Intorduction to new book

My last blog over Reality Check went very well. My teacher gave me a grade of 98 out of 100. Ont thing that went well in my first blog was that it was very well organized. It was easy to read and see that everything was there. All of my post were very infomanitve and has the right information and more, I could of done one thing better and that was check my gramical errors. There weren't many put that is where I got points off. I have one major goal for my second blog assingment and that is to get as good or better of a grade i did on the first one. Overall my first blog went awesome and I'm looking foward to this next blog.
Overall I really enjoy blogging. I like that we can tell basically the world about are opinion on anything. Of course for school we have to blog about the book we are reading but I think i will continue blogging about something that intrests me. Maybe basketball or another sport i enjoy. The blog assingment that we have been doing is really fun too. Most people think of blogging as a ton of paragraphs about something that might not even intrest them. But what I have found out that it isn't just that. We have done a lot of different things, insert pictures, a music piece to repersent our story, even a video to summarize our book. I'd much rather have a blog then write essays.
I'm about to start blogging over a new book called King of The Mild Frontier. This book is by Chris Crutcher. I have only read the first couple of pages. The book seems like it is going to be very good. It has already had a lot of humor in the book. I look foward to blogging about this book. It seems like it is going to be a good book to blog about, a lot to talk about. I'm truly excited to read the King of The Mild Frontier.

Five Literary Elements

There are many examples of Lierary Elements in Reality Check, here are a few.

Setting
- the time, place, physical details, and circumstances in which a situation occurs.

The time of the story is present day. The main place the story takes place is North Dover, Vermount. That is where Clea got lost and where she was going to school at the time. " At 1:07 - Cody noted the exact time- he drove into North Dover, the most beautiful of all."

Protagonist - A protagonist is considered to be the main character or lead figure in a novel, play, story, or poem.

The protagonist in Reality Check is Cody. He is a football star, then he tears his acl and it ruins his whole life. He drops out of school and breaks up with his girlfriend, everything was going wrong for Cody. Then he sees in the paper that his ex girlfriend Clea is lost and he went to where she was saved her.
" Cody and Clea sat together, the armrest pushed back, sharing a blanket. They slept the whole way."

Antagonist -  a character in a story or poem who deceives, frustrates, or works against the main character, or protagonist, in some way.

The antagonist in Reality Check are Big Len and Orton. They capture Clea and then they also capture Cody. At the end of the book they thretan to kill them and make up a story to say why it happened.
" Orton, gun still pointed at Cody, moved sideways, closer to the rear of the car."

Rising Action - a related series of incidents in a literary plot that build toward the point of greatest interest.

The rising action in Reality Check is when Cody also gets captured. This is the rising action because Cody can now save Clea, because they are at the same place.
" He called out, " Clea!" Or tried to; they'd taped his mouth shut too, muffling the Clea sound down to something between a grunt and a groan.
"Cody?""

Climax a decisive moment that is of maximum intensity or is a major turning point in a plot.

The climax in Reality Check is the face-off between Cody, Clea, Big Len, and Orton. This is the climax because this is when they escape and are safe.

" Cody drove for the gun. Big Len hit him witht he spade while he was in midair, a tremendous blow that knocked the wind out of him."

Comments on Friends Blogs

Chris, your blog is one of the best. You give so much description on your book. I wish I could see the rest of your blog. Because your first one was very good. Also your blog was a really good length. Not too short not too long. Hopefully you can get your other post done then I think you will have a very good blog. Work hard and get an A! Awesome job Chris.

Ethan, your first post was probably my favorite. It was my favorite because you really explained the first part of your book good.It seems like you havee read a good amount of the book. Are you done with book yet? If so i want to know about what happened. You summarize things really good. You don't give away too much when you tell about the story. Great job on all of the blogs.

Yair, your blog is very good. The spelling looks good to me. You also give a good description of the book. You summarize the book very good. I took a look at your other blog posts and I really liked them. I would say you are going to get a great grade on this. Great job Yair!

http://www.classicalconnect.com/music/1040
This music repersents my story very good. It repersents it good because it really tells the story within the music. The is very suspenful not knowing when Clea might show up. When I heard this music it remindedme of when Cody first found out she was missing. It reminded me of that because it started out normal and then got really fast. Its like the story because he just left and went straight to Vermount. Then when he got there it got more crazy.
When Cody got to Vermount he immediatley starting searching for Clea with another search team. They were some of Clea's classmates and Dover. The music repersented this well because it just started to go slow for a little bit then speed back up. This is exactly like the story because for a while they were searching nothing happened. Then Cody got caught! He was captured by the same people who got Clea. They got out of the tied ropes and made it to the police. Then Cody had to stay in Vermount for a couple days to answer questions. This is like the music because at the end it was like happy music just like the story when they were free.
